I am listening to Axe to Fall by Converge for what I thought was the first time but clearly I listened to this at least a few times when it was new cuz I remember a large number of these riffs. Pretty good record!

I've given up being critical on social media cuz the arguments that result are so tedious.
I know MJF can do better than he has for the last year but the crowds pop for his laziest work so he doesn't have a motivation to try. If he wins at Worlds End, I'm taking a break from watching.

the worst part of the MJF discourse seems to be how, if you don't like him, people seem REALLY, REALLY BENT UPON TELLING YOU WHY YOU'RE WRONG. Like, I'm all for open conversation and discussion but if I don't like a performer, I'm not WRONG for not liking him, I just have different TASTE than you do

Worked my up to 5 x 405 lbs trap bar deadlift using the high handles, and decided anything more would be ego lifting so tonight I flipped the trap bar over to use the barbell height handle instead for more range of motion... 380 lbs for 1 was pleasantly humbling.

A big reason this is bad is it could let the Future Forward Super PAC escape any accountability for the 2024 loss. It had hundreds of millions of dollars in donor money, and the DNC report was reportedly going to fault them. Now this will remain undisclosed:

What bothers me more than anything about this is that many of the same people who correctly go, "This guy's a crank!" when he's talking about Tylenol causing autism or anti-vax stuff will sit there nodding along like, "Hey, if HHS said this, it must be legit!" when it involves trans care.
I’m at HHS headquarters where RFK Jr. is announcing new restrictions on gender-affirming care for minors by spouting pseudoscience and political misinformation that goes against every major medical association.
