One of the interesting things about ADHD meds is that the grapefruit effect affects them too. Just citric acid and ascorbic acid alone will mess with them

Which means, if a person isn't aware, their meds can have wildly different effectiveness for no clear reason, just based on their eating habits

The next step for the Conservatives will be to remove the UK from the European Convention for Human Rights. They don't want so much 'red tape' making 'inclusive' labour more expensive (and costing their Tory donors money)
They want to be 'competitive' on the global stage!

By removing equality legislation, and the ability to talk & protest about inequality, the Conservatives are ensuring they can employ labour more cheaply (no D&| training needed!?) and be more competitive against the Chinese etc in world trading.
All to make the rich richer!

You cannot engineer a legacy. You cannot be an assh*le to your children, treat them as a product and expect them to become like you.

No amount of money will make them love you nor behave like you.

Your children aren't your genetic twins, and even if they were clones, how they are raised, their personal ethics & values count more toward any legacy than genetics.

Do something worth emulating, be there for them, let them be themselves then maybe your kids will want to preserve or perpetuate it.

I've never understood some men's obsession with having children (especially male children) as a form of leaving a legacy. Especially since those same men rarely want to help raise those kids. An individual person isn't a monument to your DNA. You didn't actually accomplish anything but reproduce.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
