I’ve been meaning to tell you, and now is the right time, that our favorite way to enjoy pomegranate seeds is in this dish, which you definitely measure with your heart:

• plain yogurt
• pomegranate seeds
• pistachios (shelled, of course)
• honey
Two of my faves there: Delicata squash and hakurei turnips!
There are even grated fried potatoes in this one!

It was the kind of sandwich that reminds you that a good one needs enough flavourful moisture as well as something pickled in addition to the starring ingredient(s).

This is a sandwich with mole rubbed braised brisket, feta, pickled onions, guacamole, chimmichurri aioli, and greens. Very delicious (at Laneway Café in Cumberland, British Columbia.
I’m on my 5th day of a 6 day trip and can now say with confidence that I have never packed so badly in my life! 🙄
I never found this intersection worked well since the last major change, so this sounds promising.
