stop pissing on everything. there are lots of ways of seeing a thing. no one cares if you're "correct". different people see different things, sometimes many things all at once. self-righteousness is boring. there is no one true way. just stop it.

This is pretty huge, and fucking awful.
This is nothing short of terrifying. This is directly how our government used to ensure all of our networks and information systems remained [relatively] secure.

Neri Alvarado Borges and other Venezuelans were recently deported to a prison in El Salvador, reportedly labelled as “terrorists” after being targeted for having tattoos. Alvarado had an autism awareness tattoo with his autistic brother’s name on it.

and it's so easy to win when you do, you are dealing with the literal softest most cowardly coddled people to enter public life in like the last 100 years, they have no idea what to even do when someone punches back
This, precisely, is what I think Dem voters want from their representatives: direct confrontation with people who are used to bullying others both as a matter of substance and style. You don't have to back down to these fucking clowns.
Texas Republican Keithself storms out of the meeting he's supposed to be running because a Democrat asked him to treat his colleague Sarah McBride with respect. These people would not last one day as a trans person.

It pisses me off because this is an incredibly dangerous lie.
Even if the IPs did originate “from Ukraine” who is to say that wasn’t a Russian botnet attack trying to frame Ukraine as an attacker?
Unless he can provide us with the raw logs, which he will never do, I’m not convinced.

I know you all know this, but that's not how DDoS attacks work.
Even if every IP address that hit Twitter today originated from Ukraine (doubtful), they were most likely compromised machines controlled by a botnet run by a third party that could be located anywhere in the world.

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025.
This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

Because I'm a complete goddamn nerd, I'd like to explain to folks (particularly Liberals) what a feint is, in sword fighting.
