Honestly, I did consider it. It’s been about a year since it happened. After it did, it took me a while to process all of it.

Thank you. I think that’s a very good way to put it.

To me, she lacked compassion.

Plus, it doesn’t help that she literally sneered when I told her I was upset about the election results. (I received a dx for autism the day after the 2024 US presidential election.)

Not to mention, calling genocide a “mess” is an interesting choice of words.
myraccoonhands.com
The mess is Israel *is* one of our BIG PROBLEMS. It’s currently where A LOT of our tax dollars are going. It’s not isolated. It does not exist in a vacuum.

Liberals on Bluesky are indistinguishable from Conservatives on Facebook 10-15 years ago.

It’s still a leading cause… just not in the top 10 leading causes… Jesus and crackers.

Why, yes, Meatball Rob, I do.

"’COVID is still in the top 15 leading causes of death, so it hasn't disappeared,’ says Farida Ahmad, a health scientist at the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics and lead author on the publication.”

It never functionally ended. That doesn’t refute that. Not to mention, they stopped tracking to the same capacity by 2024.

Eye roll all you want, but the facts are the facts.

Indeed.

Their whole post is basically them feeling bad about previously being a Republican and not wanting to come to terms with what that meant. So, they’re lashing out at everyone else and trying to make their anecdotal experiences seem more mainstream.

I had elderly family members that did very similar things. On the surface, they would appear to be very kind and accepting, but behind closed doors, they’d drop a hard R or use some kind of equivalent euphemism or slur.

(Us youngins would always correct them and say it’s unacceptable.)

No, they really were always like this. All you’re saying is they used to be better about hiding it because of decorum/lack of internet access.

If you grew up in the Midwest or the South, you’re very aware of how prevalent this is/was, even back then.

Did they get more emboldened? Yes. Absolutely.

My parents' generation was super racist, but they took pains to hide it from us. So a lot of young conservatives in the 90s and early aughts were earnest small government and/or evangelical types.

As I said, the overt racists and radicals had to form their own orgs.

I mean, technically the pandemic never truly ended. It only did insofar as corporations urging the government to say it did so people could return to work and they could turn a profit again.

I’m not sure why asking for people to consciously help combat a virus that’s killed millions is ridiculous.

Anyway, since she gave her opinion on me, I’ll give mine on her: She very much seemed like a Conservative boy mom who victim blames and asks, “Well, what was she wearing?” when a woman says she was assaulted. 🤷‍♀️
myraccoonhands.com
The best way I could put it is, it felt like she completely ignored or didn’t believe I was abused. Which also meant she didn’t believe I had PTSD as a result of said abuse.

It was jarring.

As if a whole part of my past was denied and everything else was pathologized.

She had some surveys I’d filled out and a handful of notes on top of that.

It felt like she took everything in the worst possible light and never gave me the benefit of the doubt.

Luckily, my long-time therapist was as shocked as I was.

It felt validating.

So, I took it with a grain of salt.

Right. I tried to consider what was being said as possible, but when I repeated some of it back to my therapist and others close to me, they agreed it was very off.

Thing is, that psychologist didn’t spend a lot of time around me and wrote a report about me based on others’ perceptions.

Nazis don’t even like themselves. Literally no one likes them.

I’ve had this exact experience with a psychologist.

She said a lot of untrue things about me while wearing the creepiest smile I’ve ever seen.

When I delivered the dx report to other doctors, I redacted the entire section that was filled with her conjecture. It was like a weird fanfic about me.

I don’t particularly like Devimon that way, however, I think he fits the criteria of your typical Tumblr Sexyman. I have a hunch.

And also Wizardmon was cool af.
