In a post Thanksgiving haze? Perfect time to check out my album Husky Boy! It’s dumb and fun and made from love! Stack up a leftover sandwich, light the fire, crack a tall boy and enjoy.
Today marks one year since my debut comedy album “Husky Boy” was released. It’s my proudest professional accomplishment. It falls on the birthday of my friend Amy Daulton who passed away 10 years ago. That was not by accident. This will be an album and Amy thread in celebration

Happy Small Business Saturday!

I guess I should plug my business.

So...

Today, please take some time to reflect/meditate/pray on what brings you joy.

The unexamined life cries out for attention.

I love whenever articles like this are all “SEE THE UNREASONABLE ANGRY DEMANDS OF THIS SJW TEACHER” and the teacher’s comment are always “please actually cite sources and try not to call your classmates demonic”

I remember Dawning Realization Month for the NFT people too. Think this is going to take much longer because of how wrapped up the whole economy is in this, but it really feels like it's happening.
Anecdotally on twitter seeing a big shift the last few days from every AI slop account saying every other creative field is “over” and they’re in control now to now posting about how nobody likes them and it’s not fair and they’ll persevere and real artists respect and uplift eachother

I spent time on Thanksgiving with a toddler cosplaying as a pig based ghost.

(It's basically a towel with a built-in hood. She grab it. Yell "MINE!". Then hand it to me and turn away from me so I could drape it over her. Then she'd march around and/or demand to be carried.)

There is hope for the future
There was an article in The Guardian a few weeks back about how Gen Z find bookshops preferable to online shopping, and a key factor was that an algorithm will offer you 6000 books identical to the one you just finished whereas a bookseller will offer you three that are different but meet the vibe.

Dimon on why JPMorgan Chase is not funding WH Ballroom:
We have an issue, which is anything we do, since we do a lot of contracts with governments here and around the world, we have to be very careful how anything is perceived, and also how the next DOJ is going to deal with it.
