Both movies directed by men who openly desire children too.
The neighborhood theater is showing a chilling horror movie about a European beauty who marries a bloodthirsty, ancient, parasitic monster, and also Dracula.

I wonder how many would agree its a manufactured housing crisis ...

With over 160,00 vacant homes, & 20,000 derelict homes

#DerelictIreland #VacantIreland
New polling on Ireland's housing crisis:

- 81% want the government to build more social housing "even if there are local objections"

- 64% disagree government is making progress on housing

- 67% would vote for a constitutional right to housing

- 29% are personally affected by the housing crisis
Appetite for radical change grows as voters’ patience wears thin over housing crisis
Half of all voters say country’s problems are getting worse instead of better

The Wright Museums Instagram page is HILARIOUS. Think The Office but it's the staff at a Museum for Black History. Better believe this is on my list of places to visit.

Woke up this morning to 3 DMs from men about this, ranging from the rudely patronising (& incorrect) to the fully abusive.

Clearly, they knew that what they sent me wasn't appropriate for a public reply. Yet instead of simply scrolling past, they decided to send me the comments in unsolicited DMs.
Look, I absolutely know that more definitely needs to be done in terms of road safety & enforcement relating to cars/trucks etc.

BUT the reactions I’m seeing to this are mind-boggling. Helmets & high-vis is a good thing. It’s one step.

Stubbornly arguing against reducing acquired TBI’s? Jesus.
The Government plans to introduce regulations making it mandatory for users of e-bikes and e-scooters to wear helmets and high-visibility clothing.

This goes for Ireland too.
Don’t believe the claims about ‘kids safety’ behind the push for Online ID checks. They are and always have been about surveillance and censorship.

I so strongly miss the STRUCTURE of scheduled television. Life had far more of a sense of order when Thursday was Buffy and Wednesday had a midweek movie at 9pm.

This obviously isn't true given NetEase has openly used GenAI in its games and announced GenAI related features as recently as this month.

Statement from NetEase: “The situation described did not occur, and we have not published any related policies.”

The girl was killed because the rider ran a red light and broke the speed limit, both of which are already illegal.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
A ban on scramblers in public spaces will be introduced within weeks following Government discussions. The Taoiseach has instructed that the regulations banning the use of scramblers on public roads, parks and places are finalised urgently

A lot said on this already but what I find interesting is the slow motion mass realisation among men that after years of being led around by bad actors like Rogan et al. the romantic marketplace has unanimously opted to blacklist them and now they're panicking. No amount of podcasts will fix that.

Interesting tech product trend, no one seems to be interested in TVs getting any more visual clarity.

Much like smartphones, there doesn't appear to be an obvious direction to work into anymore. TVs do everything you want from them, so no reason to upgrade.
