This is ridiculous framing. The Supreme Court “officially considers” taking up thousands of cases a year. It actually takes up less than a hundred. When the latter happens, it’ll be worth reporting on.
Breaking: The Supreme Court is now officially considering taking up a case overturning same-sex marriage.

This is the first time in history the court has considered rolling back this right.

Among the range of right-wing slop news sites who joined the Pentagon press corps this week is Infowars, the conspiracy website run by Alex Jones. Breanna Morello, who said she left "Fox Corp over the Covid mandate," will be representing the group.

MAGA media is desperate for proof of widespread left-wing violence. But from an GOP bar fracas to a teen who staged his abduction by “four Mexicans,” the stories keep turning out to be hoaxes.

One of the new members of the Pentagon press corps has collaborated with neo-Nazis and spread Russian misinformation on multiple occasions. He also wrote a book about crushing the left that bears very eerie parallels to overt white supremacist literature that World War II-era Nazis praised.
I wrote about Jack Posobiec, the intellectual emptiness of the pro-Trump right, and their bizarre—and disingenuous—attempts to co-opt white nationalist thought.

Jack Posobiec’s career exemplifies how the Republican Party has leveraged a network of influencers to appeal to the far right.

It's all projection. Trump is accusing all of us of being criminals and terrorists and violent but he is pardoning criminals who helped terrorists.
Breaking News: President Trump pardoned the billionaire founder of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao. Zhao admitted in 2023 to money-laundering violations that allowed terrorists, drug traffickers and other criminals to move money on the platform. nyti.ms/3J9mazz

Or they care and they WANT that discussion, because they are either plants for Nazis

Or they believe that we should have large public discussions on “free speech”

Where the free speech is of Black people and immigrants are human and what they have to do to become it
By the way if Platner was serious about his duty to the country and not just in it for the power, he'd have already stepped down. Republicans are gonna run "see they have Nazis too" ads in the general and he knows it and his team knows it but they don't care.

Trump’s EPA: where chemtrails are real and climate change isn’t.
EPA Commissioner Lee Zeldin announces his agency is launching a major investigation into the right-wing conspiracies about chemtrails and weather manipulation to get to the bottom of it.

Over the next several years, Elon Musk aims to take astronauts to the moon using a 403-foot rocket, launch a fleet of autonomous vehicles that lack a steering wheel or pedals, and turn millions of existing Teslas into self-driving cars overnight.

The tech executive has shown little sign of backing down from a battle over the future of NASA. It has spilled into the Transportation Department, which oversees regulation for Tesla.

Oh yeah if there’s anything America just won’t tolerate it’s high-profile criminal cases against athletes
Q: Director, you said in your comments 'we're going to take heat for this case.' Why do you say that?

PATEL: It's not popular to go after some of the defendants that we went after today, but justice is served blindly. This is the insider trading saga for the NBA. That's why we are gonna take heat

🧵Just remember—the Argentina $40 billion is contingent on the results of the midterm election this Sunday.

Trump said he won't send the money if Milei doesn't win.

In other words, it's a $40 billion bribe to a country in the toilet to prop up the thug who put it in the toilet.

Trump didn’t just take billions of taxpayer dollars and give it to Argentina with no legal process to help a politician he likes avoid losses in domestic elections and hook up a billionaire he knows who made a bad bet on Argentina.

He gave away billions of Americans’ money and it didn’t even work.
Things are not going well in Argentina, official exchange rate has now decoupled from the market-implied exchange rate to the tune of about 8%

This is obviously gutter bigotry but it’s wild that a nominal Democrat is using “he’s no Rudy Giuliani” as a negative
Cuomo has went all in on the anti Arab and anti Muslim rhetoric and decided to laugh along to a "Mamdani would support 9/11" joke.

Just a quick PSA that you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in your public movements. This is why law enforcement can follow YOU or photograph YOU in public without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Law enforcement doesn’t get “extra” protection in that regard. Goose/gander etc.

far be it for me to tell the vice president he doesn't know what he's talking about, but I'm here to tell you that if we consider how other, similar international forces have worked, the vice president doesn't know what he's talking about
