Nobody ever wants to talk about or admit this but it happened.

Taking in refugees isn't just a nice thing we do — we have a legal obligation. The 1951 Refugee Convention came about specifically because countries like the US refused entry to Jews who were trying to escape Germany, because the world didn't ever want that to happen again.

@gravelinfluencer.bsky.social I have made “How to Report ICE” zines for many localities in the US. The SALUTE protocol is included and the LUCE hotline as well for MA. Zines are available in English and Spanish for Massachusetts.

NEW — I dug into the story of ICE abducting a 13-year-old boy in Massachusetts and moving him 500 miles across state lines without notifying his mother, local cop's complicity, and how the federal government's justification for such cruelty is already falling apart:
ICE took a 13-year-old they said had a gun. Local cops say he didn’t.
Now he's detained 500 miles away from his Massachusetts home.

People who bike commute are *not* differentially likely to be drawn from the economically privileged. Full fucking stop.
Yes, the data are a bit dated here, but I doubt this pattern has simply reversed since 2012!

Horizontal bar-graph showing walking and bicycling to work by household income: 2008-2012, based on data from the US Census run American Community Survey. Green bars show percentages walking that are highest for the lowest household income groups, and lowest for those in the highest income brackets. Similarly, orange bars show the same pattern for biking to work.

The antifa concept can be traced to Arditi del Popolo movement, an Italian anti-fascist group that was founded in 1921 for the purpose of defending working-class people and institutions from the assault of Mussolini’s blackshirts.

The Zionists just released the corpses of 45 Palestinians
- No names were provided, just numbers
- All were cuffed
- Some were blindfolded
- Some were executed by gunshot
- Others were run over by tanks
Tweet from Quds News:

The Palestinian ministry of Health reported earlier today that 45 Palestinian bodies have been released by Israel.
All had their hands and legs cuffed. Some were blindfolded. Some had gunshot wounds, while others have been run over by tanks.

EXCLUSIVE: Capitol Police are investigating a swastika found in GOP Rep. Dave Taylor’s office.

“The content of that image does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn it in the strongest terms," Taylor said in a statement.

Going to keep beating this drum because it’s also a great example of the “urban playground” philosophy vs catering your business to people that live and work in the city. Instead of everything as a drive in destination for suburbanites.

When the writing is this bad, why aren’t we naming names? Sharyn Jackson, please do a better job. This is sloppy.

What meaningless thing/experience are you still mad about? Like it should not matter at all, DOES not matter at all. But you’re still MAD.

And how long has it been?

I bought some bagels at Hy-Vee four years ago. So bad. Too big. Hard. Bland. WORTHLESS.

I’m still FURIOUS.

I spent the morning at a rally for striking CMRJB Workers United union tannery workers at Twin City Tanning in South St Paul. They are fighting for better wages and working conditions. Many of these workers have been there over 20 years and are still barely making 20 dollars an hour.
