I think the Twitter infrastructure and backend people before the takeover probably worked pretty hard to make a robust system with a lot of failsafes that would last a long time and would be easy for new people to maintain (low bus factor) and in retrospect they probably should have tried less hard

I went to the National Gallery and was really struck by how much Andrew Cuomo reminds me of Quentin Matsys' "The Ugly Duchess" and now you all have to see it too.
