1. First, migrate your archive and subscriber list to the new platform. I went to buttondown, which was the most affordable for me as a small letter, not a lot of paid subscribers. It's not as slick of an interface, but it does everything I need.

I'd have voted for Harris in the final ballot because bad though she is there really were only two options at that point and Trump is much worse.
The time for USA to get someone actually good was Primaries (and the preceding yrs)

I understand why many people wouldn't but I think they are wrong.

I expect fossil fuel companies to back it in a big way at some point (with lobbying not actually doing it themselves) since it gives them such a lovelry excuse to emit even more

...then again they don't even need to pretend in USA any more.

Remember that when Farage got a seat in the commons Starmer congratulated him. When Badenoch won the Conservative leadership Starmer congratulated her. When Polanski won the Green Party leadership, Labour instantly put out an attack ad. Maybe it's Labour that needs to assess it's target priorities.

Al Jazeera is doing videos of the Palestinian releases and they're heart wrenching. One man was detained for over a year and was released to find out that Israel had killed his two kids. The youngest was three. Her birthday would've been on Saturday. He'd made a small bracelet for her in prison.

Something this book really drilled home (scuse the pun) is that we're not stalled out on climate because scientists didn't model hard enough or campaigners didn't come up with the perfect message, but because the world's most powerful spent gazillions to sabotage action.
