Hi, I'm Richard. 👋

I'm a firefighter who has a serious interest in gaming, particularly from 1980s and 1990s.

Things I love include...
- Commodore
- early Apple
- Nintendo

- obscure Japanese systems

I also do console and computer things for Base Arcade in Belfast.

I've tried the 'Commodore OS Vision 3.0' and it's honestly fucking terrible.

It's a big shiny bauble that smacks you in the face constantly with colour, noise and general effects.

It essentially gets in the way of using the computer properly.

Don't use that Linux distro: use Mint, Arch or Ubuntu.

What an incredible experience, getting to perform at the Riyadh Comedy Festival. I left feeling grateful and humbled by his majesty's generosity. I'll never forget this memorial experience and all the fun we had. Hope to do it again soon.

upon further reflection, there is a small part of me that feels I sent the wrong message, regarding the Riyahd Comedy Festival last night. While, I do think it's important for comedy to have the opportunity to thrive in all parts of the globe, there are some aspects of The Royal Highness, King Salmon and his leadership in the region that i don't agree with entirely, but it's a different culture when it comes to freedom and rights and I gotta respect that we are all different and have different values. My manager is now investigating the possibility of donating some of my fee to a charity for Vetrans of War.

Agreed! I love this era of Apple, and before, because it was genuinely forward thinking and unique in terms of design.

I managed to pick up one of the most striking Apple computers ever made.

This iMac G4 was available locally for a great price and has a 1 GHz PowerPC CPU, a maximum configuration of 2GB of RAM, and a 15" flat panel active display.

It's in excellent condition and has everything with it. Beautiful!
