I never thought I would walk away from Star Trek. I’ve written about it for a decade and I’ve eagerly shared it my entire life. But given who owns it now and who stands to profit from Trekkies’ loyalty, I can’t keep promoting it. The Trekkie in me won’t allow it.

former meta employees tell me that a fourth studio, camouflaj, was also hit hard by recent layoffs. unlike the other three, it remains open, but in-development game projects have been canceled, and studio heads have been let go. ex-employees characterized it as being "effectively" shut down

it is absolutely wild to me that australian politicians were so up for banning access to social media for kids, but remain on the platform owned by a nazi and thats generating child and on-consensual porn at will
Australian politicians are condemning X and Grok, so why won’t they leave the platform?
