There is *no such thing* as a "bloodline".
I've done a lot of reading about ideas of heredity in the past, and "bloodline" never appears (I am still in the 16th century). Here's why: it's a eugenicky 20th century invention, boosted by Dan Brown. It's eugeno-bollocks.

Loving this game for the Psion Series 3 (also runs on 3a/c/mx and Siena). For a turn-based strategy game, it's really quite addictive and engrossing, and has chewed up a fair bit of my Sunday! #Psion #Permacomputing #Retrocomputing
Beta testing is going well on the Dragonfell project. I've changed up the title screen, with an image that can also be used for the manual cover, Itch banner and anywhere else that warrants full colour and high resolution. #gamedev #Psion #PsionSeries3

Why do Gen Z have a growing appetite for retro tech?
Gen Z are going retro, with studies showing a resurgence in people buying tech in the modern age that can be dated back decades.

The beautiful old Psion handheld computers remain a classic - retro, yet properly useful in daily life and work. I wouldn't be without mine, and my Discord buddy is writing *new games* for them. There's a hugely supportive community of us nutters - join us! psion.community

Here's an interesting one - 1778 map of Belfast-Carrickfergus. There are some differences with the Ordnance Survey map of 1834, but there are some interesting features that aren't on the other maps.

A company that will say this is either incompetent or dishonest. Those are your two options. Either way, you gonna entrust your IVF genetic screening to them?

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.
I'm so tired of measles.

I'm also tired of people using needle shots on stories like this.

Show what measles looks like.

Here is the Safety Report commissioned by @meabc.bsky.social from Donnelly Safety Services (starts p40). In our view this document is critically flawed, failed to address its stated brief, and puts beach visitors at risk. Any Bluesky H&S experts fancy wading in? github.com/shanemuk/car...

Amazing views from Knockagh this morning - low cloud over Belfast and the Lough, clear above that all the way to Scrabo, the Mournes, Scotland!

Folks seemed to like this - a bit blurry; the view over Belfast Lough last evening towards Belfast itself, from the sleepy village of Greenisland, named for the Green Island that most people have never even *seen* because the Council, colluding with NIMBYs, won't let you access the public beach...
Nice sky this evening.
