Here's an interesting one - 1778 map of Belfast-Carrickfergus. There are some differences with the Ordnance Survey map of 1834, but there are some interesting features that aren't on the other maps.

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.

Folks seemed to like this - a bit blurry; the view over Belfast Lough last evening towards Belfast itself, from the sleepy village of Greenisland, named for the Green Island that most people have never even *seen* because the Council, colluding with NIMBYs, won't let you access the public beach...

God, this is SO true, I wish I’d thought to say it. Good teachers really *care* about the children they teach. And, once in a while, you’ll get a comment from a kid and you’ll know they know this. This week, overheard a kid say to another “That’s Shaha, he’s the reason I’m doing A-level Physics”.
9. Does this sound like the kind of experience you'd like for children you love? If so be aware this is always under threat from people who see your kids and their schools as markets. Google doesn't care about your kid like I care about your kid.
