The beautiful old Psion handheld computers remain a classic - retro, yet properly useful in daily life and work. I wouldn't be without mine, and my Discord buddy is writing *new games* for them. There's a hugely supportive community of us nutters - join us! psion.community

There is a local tradition that the Three Sisters was actually at Thompson's Point, which has now been erased and lies under the dual carriageway. It seems more likely that it's the Go Station (who ya gonna call? Go Station!) Grim though.

Here's an interesting one - 1778 map of Belfast-Carrickfergus. There are some differences with the Ordnance Survey map of 1834, but there are some interesting features that aren't on the other maps.

If @meabc.bsky.social followed the logic of this biased report, they would close ALL beach access at every point on the shore. The implications are absurd and draconian. I would like Donnelly Safety Services to immediately withdraw this report and the Council to re-engage.
