I've seen so many fly agaric mushrooms in the last couple of weeks - such a thrill seeing that flash of colour. The top of this one was all curled which made an interesting shape - love seeing the gills too.

Now that you mention it... One of my cat's purr has a high pitch component that almost sounds like a feline version of throat singing. I wish this was the weirdest sound they make, but noooooo.. One will wander through the house at 3 am making what sounds like a very human "hello" sound 😮

I've noticed the more I do this type of singing, it tends to deepen my voice. I also notice that I seem to hit the resonances easier in the mornings (the throat wears out over the day?)
