Trying to make a decision on building this amp box and speaker cabinet.
Ash is usually my go-to wood for projects, but idk. A lot of people seem to use Cherry or Pine.
There's a lot of choices, but I also don't want to spend a fortune.

Pretty happy with how the room is turning out. :D
Put up most of the trim yesterday.
Just need to install the mirror into the frame.
Then onto making a towel bar and a small shelf.

So, it kinda started Monday. My basement was a bit cold, so I went to turn up the thermostat. Turn it up, switch clicks, no heat. Ok, check and breaker is on.
Thermostat is pretty old, probably the issue.
Turn power off and test thermostat.

Getting some work done on the old truck. Finally going to replace the leaky oil pan gasket.
Also a new starter. Turns out nearly 10:1 compression and 14 degrees advanced timing is a bit much for the old one (stock specs were like 8.4:1 and 4° or something) 😅
