The Declaration of Independence specifies 27 grievances with King George III and Britain.

Donald Trump and his regime have committed at least 20 of those same offenses highlighted in yellow.

The people might be tired and frustrated, but wonderful to see so many communities coming together to stand up against this fascist administration.
We might not have all the answers, but we have each other.

Every single No Kings protest, all 2,500+ of them across the country, made Mike Johnson and House Republican leadership look like lying sacks of shit for all the bullshit that spewed out of their mouths about it this week.

Again.

Not very Christian.

I’ve seen just one counter-protester at No Kings San Diego. He’s got a Trump 2024 flag and this guy has been following him around for probably an hour playing Benny Hill and circus music.

When somebody claims that higher education is going in the wrong direction, they should immediately share their ideas for a better alternative, otherwise they just increase pessimism for no reason. Criticising is so easy...

Alberta’s education system has become the latest front in a growing political and ideological struggle. Journalist @melwoods.me investigates how far-right movements mirroring those found in the US have made their way into classrooms north of the border: thewalrus.ca/the-battle-brewi...

That would be 3.5%. My question all week has been whether we'd hit that number. --AKS
There were at least 300,000 people at No Kings in NYC.

I think the dawning realization that #Impeachment (dependant as it is on traditional political structures in deeply non-traditional political times) won't save #America may be a little devastating but it's a necessary realization because the "what's next" piece REALLY matters.
I keep seeing folks saying #ImpeachTrump like he hasn't already been impeached twice now and it didn't even slightly stop him from becoming President again.

Dear #America,

Waiting for the next election is not an option.

#Impeachment didn't even slow Trump down. Twice.

The #Republicans are fully onboard with the #Fascism

The #Democrats are largely useless.

Listen to that Preppy Black Girl.

And FIGHT.
We need to wake up.

I hope our Alberta conservative politicians are watching closely. For all the times marlaina has gushed over her American ’heroes’, those heroes are being sent a very strong message today. The people are speaking.
Per CNN, the White House has just issued a two-word response to what may be the largest day of protest in US history—and those two words perfectly encapsulate why No Kings Day exists.

The response from would-be King Donald to outrage over his destruction of our traditions and norms is, "Who cares?"

Washington, D.C.’s No Kings protest is converging on a rallying point just west of the Capitol building. This was one of several locally-organized feeder marches just before merging with an even bigger crowd on Pennsylvania Avenue 👇

If universities spent as much time scrutinizing their operating budgets as they do travel expense reports, they'd be in the green in no time.

This is easily the biggest protest march I have ever seen in NYC. For three hours straight the crowds were marching out of Times Square. Well over 100K in my estimation. Congratulations to all! #NoKings #NYC
