When your "law enforcement" plans involve you literally shooting at *multiple* religious leaders, you're on a timer.
Oh wow:

"During the fracas, a federal agent fired a pepper round that struck a (UCC) clergyman, Jorge Bautista, near the chin. The impact caked his face and clothing in orange powder. Bautista said the agent shot him in the face from about 5 feet away."

"'I’m in a lot of pain,'" Bautista texted…"

Trump’s demand for $230M violates the Constitution’s emoluments clause

He & his cronies approving this face serious legal & ethical issues

This will not stand

And here's the New York Times' Clyde Haberman -- Maggie's father -- telling it publicly in 2018.
Bizarre. She will gleefully lie through her teeth every single day, yet she equivocates on this??
Right??! I can’t stand it. It is making me crazy that none of these reporters will do this!

The "pro-weed" gun case is a trap for lefties. Yes, it's hypocritcal to take away guns from people who use weed, but not people who abuse alcohol. But the way to deal with that is to DECRIMINALIZE WEED, not expand gun rights.

Don’t Fall for the Supreme Court’s “Pro-Weed” Gun Case
The case, which proposes expanding gun access to drug users, is not an opportunity—it‘s a trap.

BREAKING CBS News reports Trump plans to upgrade the East Wing bunker, the Presidential Emergency Operations Center, which serves as a secure shelter and communications hub for the president and key personnel during emergencies. WHAT EMERGENCIES MIGHT THOSE BE?

Know what might make Trump's bid to cash in on being a criminal more interesting?

If Joe BIden sued bc he was investigated.

Not “ICE” changing license plates in a back lot.

They wouldn’t do that, would they? Maybe the authorities should look into this.
My mom has advanced dementia. This is the kind of thing she says when she can’t remember the right words for what she’s trying to say.
Trump: "The ocean drugs and the sea drugs, drugs by sea they call it also, that's almost down to nothing."

Todd Blanche has participated in trafficking of mostly innocent men to a concentration camp in Venezuela.

He ordered the kidnapping of Newark's Mayor, even after knowing Ras Baraka had not trespassed.

And he put an unlawfully appointed US Attorney before a grand jury.

That's what we know about.
Critical angle: Trump's accomplices are surely counting on pardons, which only makes them more beholden to him. Todd Blanche must think hard about saying "no" to Trump's demand for the $230 million.

Raskin and I discuss this here. It's something Dems could say more:

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 80th day out of the last 92.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

“Our monthly premium is $443. It’s going up to $2224. We’re kind of in shock. Both of us have worked our whole lives.”

These are the people Burchett & @MarshaBlackburn refuse to help, even as Marge says Republicans should work with Dems to fix this. #TrumpGOPShutdown

Good morning.

It's been 30 days since Adelita Grijalva was elected by the people of Arizona's seventh congressional district to represent them in Congress.

Mike Johnson still refuses to swear her in.
Wow. It hurts my brain to think about the process these people go through to invent these talking points.

The president should not be able to take money from taxpayers and put it in his personal bank account. For any reason. Having his personal attorney do it isn’t any better.

Glad to see Rep. Jamie Raskin and @gregsargent.bsky.social on this. Dems should hammer it. Most Americans dislike corruption.
Good: Jamie Raskin tells me he's formally demanding any/all internal communications between WH and DOJ on Trump's $230 million payoff.

More Dems should talk this way about Trump's criming. He's turning the presidency into a massive Bribe Delivery System.

Trump’s Vile New $230 Million Shakedown of DOJ Just Got Even Worse
It’s bad enough that Trump wants—and DOJ will likely fork over—this tribute payment. Now, get this: It can probably be done at first without even being revealed publicly.

So @jvl.bsky.social is pushing Dems to talk about Trump's criminality harder. Agreed. I think this from Jamie Raskin is a good start.

"We should consider this a civic emergency," Raskin tells me. Much more from him in this piece and thread:
“Are we going to have presidents from here on in just shaking down DOJ or other parts of the US government for money to put in their pockets?” Raskin says.

He also says he'll push this when Judiciary Committee meets next, challenging Rs on the $230 million payoff:

I had daily migraines for years. Imitrex helped but is not well suited for daily headaches. I started Engality (monthly injection preventative) about 6 years ago and it changed my life. Aimovig is what my insurance covers now (same drug type) so I switched.

Good luck!

Sure sounds like that research about how left-wing violence was outpacing right-wing violence for the first time in 30 years had some glaring fatal flaws
