I’ve seen some brusque dismissals of MKLK from folks who do not feel it offers anything special. May I challenge that interpretation? 🙂

I hope this illustrates more of what we are offering and why we feel it will be of value. Trilogy is literally better than it’s ever been.
When our engineers examined MK Trilogy's code, they found areas where loading time could be optimized, so we did that! In the original game, there would often be a lengthy pause whenever Shang Tsung morphed into a different character; now it's instant, thanks to our code tweaks. Exclusive to MKLK!

as others have pointed out, it also seems pretty sketch for the mayor's PAC to have access to a resume his opponent used when she applied for a job 10 years ago
The pro-Bruce Harrell PAC sent out a mailer suggesting Katie Wilson has no experience. VERY odd that they only include her resume through 2015. Wonder if Harrell would consider it fair to exclude mayor and two council terms from his resume? Yes they included her old address for some fucking reason.

I'm extremely resentful of Louis XIV. That motherfucker had a lawn and so now everyone has a goddamn lawn and we waste so much money, land, water and poison just to have lawns. Because of Louis XIV. Fuck that guy. The French aristocracy would have fallen because of anger about lawns eventually.

Capitalists and their supporters often say “communism and fascism are the same” to obscure the fact that fascism is related to capitalism.
Fascism, in fact, is no peculiar, independent doctrine and system arising in opposition to existing capitalist society.
Fascism, on the contrary, is the most complete and consistent working out, in certain conditions of extreme decay, of the most typical tendencies and policies of modern capitalism

Big dumb doofus alert
There are basically only two positions in the debate about AI.
1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.

Position #1 has lower barriers to entry.

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."

even if this were somehow true — which it *emphatically* is not — you’re telling me this aide has not been on a single teams call, where it would have been noticed, all year?
lol, now they're saying the Nazi flag is an "optical illusion"
Swastika” Flag In Office of Rep. Dave Taylor (R-OH) May Be An “optical illusion” and “easy to miss”

The weird story about an aide to Rep. Dave Taylor (R-OH) having a flag in his Capitol Hill office with a swastika on it, has just gotten weirder.

Multiple sources tell Fox – including those investigating the issue – the flag in question is an American flag – but with a swastika embedded into the ink or weaving. And here’s the strange part: the swastika is not obvious to the naked eye. But is more visible when captured on video or by a still photo.

One source described this as an “optical illusion.” Another said the swastika was “easy to miss.”

Fox has learned that dozens of Congressional offices received these American flags from an undetermined group who brought them around Capitol Hill early in the year. One office tells Fox that the swastika on their flag was clear, so they tossed it out. But the flag in the office of Taylor was not visible until captured on camera.

It is not known what group brought the flags around. That is under investigation. The US Capitol Police are also conducting an inquiry. Fox is told that that the group brought the flags to multiple offices. At issues is if the group knew the swastika was embedded into the flag. It is also unclear if this was an effort to covertly deliver American flags to lawmakers with swastikas on them. Or, if this was an effort to deliberately embarrass offices by bringing them an American flag – which featured a swastika which wasn’t obvious to the naked eye.

Morrison invoking AI alike to "God" indicates a severe misunderstanding of how AI appropriates the work of thousands, including their own, and someone needs to rectify their understanding ASAP.

But also it's a severe disservice to their colleagues anyway to use it and justify it like this.
