We all know how attendance correlates to performance.

Recording compensated for inevitable attendance issues - students would catch up on their own time, unconstrained by traditional schedules. It wasn't ideal, but I'd rather they caught up, whatever their reasons were.

But one-on-one matters.

But even oil isn’t the reason. Fundamentally, Trump’s doing it because he feels like it. It’s a demonstration of his unconstrained power and a proof that he’s as much of a strongman as the people he sucks up to.

I was impressed with Aftyn Behn in talking to her. Republicans are tagging her with tired culture war stuff; I'm not sure it'll work even in a deep-red district.
It's also interesting how she's the first federal candidate to connect the Epstein files to oligarchy:

In addition, I was surprised to find Behn prominently using the Jeffrey Epstein case in her campaign. One ad cites how her opponent resisted the release of the files until the roof caved in last week. “The Epstein files are locked away, Matt Van Epps will keep ’em that way,” the narrator states. Invoking the Epstein files had a policy dimension to it: She was using it as a proxy for elite impunity, for an oligarchy that is unconstrained by the laws. “People don’t like feeling that there’s a different set of rules for some people,” she said. “I’ve used this race to disentangle the nexus of corporate rule, that these are well-connected people making life harder for you.”

There are so many poison pill provisions that shld be totally unacceptable to UKR but IMO the most important is the one limiting the size of its military. One absolutely minimal condition for UKR coming out of any agreement is an unconstrained right to defend the territory it controls. Full stop.

That's the real issue, isn't it? IMHO, the USA will not be credible or trustworthy until they fix their political system to prevent ANY Pres/VP from grabbing this much unconstrained power. Realising that Congress can't be relied upon to rein in an autocratic Administration totally fucks things up.

I touched on that later in the video (not this short); in the findWithDefault case it's obvious. I'm complaining about the general dance people do which is "Well, since unconstrained `a -> a` can only be `id`, therefore a type signature is great documentation in all cases", which isn't true.

In both cases, these cohorts are worried about people “destroying their way of life” and I guess depending on how you define a way of life those might be legit concerns.

I guess if you really enjoy unconstrained oligarchy as a way of like, yes you should be concerned because that’s unstable.

There is a whole lot more in this article that is vastly more objectionable than this (like, say, comments on women and minorities), but writing this to a pedophile is… hoo boy!
