Part of the problem is not just they agree with the politics/vibe. They are *culturally* wired for a King/father figure. Patriarchal dominance is a key religious and familial tenet. I don’t know how you structure a Presidential system against that.
We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King.

This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.
Footage shows Danish troops arriving in Greenland as part of a new military deployment. Among the personnel who landed on the island is Major General Peter H. Boysen, Chief of the Danish Army Command. #Greenland

NATO has invoked Article 5, the common defense tenet of the alliance, one time:

When the United States was attacked on Sept. 11, 2001.
Trump on NATO: "We never ask for anything, and we never got anything. We probably won't get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force, where we would be frankly unstoppable. But I won't do that. Okay?"

anti-socialism is not only a core tenet of fascism, but one of its primary rhetorical and ideological tools. "you hate socialists? us too! join us!".

This cherished tenet of Sensiblism is obv such utter rubbish. Those motivated by money never or v v rarely ever say: "know what? I'm wealthy enough. I'll stop there". Cos enough is *never* enough for the greedy. If we paid MPs more they'd simply pocket the pay rise & continue with the side hustles

That fundamental tenet of secret codes, that they could be deciphered to be two completely different words made up of entirely different letters

I'm sort of kidding, but it's not like these people haven't sold out every other tenet they once cherished. They've embraced socialism, state tyranny, regime change, and Jeffrey Epstein. Why not gun confiscation?

A corrupt regime which violates fundamental rights can & should be resisted, altered, or abolished--a core tenet of natural rights philosophy & historical declarations of independence. (John Locke & Thomas Jefferson)

Q: Does this administration believe that reporters have a right to publish classified information under certain circumstances?

LEAVITT: It's a basic tenet of journalistic integrity not to publish information that could directly endanger the brave men and women who serve this country in uniform

I think some posters on here missed that "getting punched in the face, repeatedly, by goon security services and not directly punching back" has been a core tenet of just about every successful nonviolent resistance movement in history

As someone who lives in New England, this is an absolute iron-clad tenet I live by. Good call @sheaserrano.bsky.social

"I support killing millions of people if it means owning the United States" is like a core tenet of being a tankie
January 16, 2026 at 12:12 AM
Wait, isn’t that at the heart of socialism’s key tenet?
January 21, 2026 at 1:41 PM
The citizens of a free republic have a right to know what agents of their government are doing in their communities. It's a fundamental tenet of our country and anybody who disagrees is unamerican
