Look, I have a temper pedic bee thingy that's specifically for my EDS issues, and it's decent, but there's something about a broken in couch that fixes whatever the special bed cannot, specifically, this time, my sacroiliac joint dysfunction acting up and then some, and I don't understand that. 😂

man I bought a pillow to help with sex & masturbation but actually sitting on it is providing the best sacroiliac support I’ve ever had and I can actually like. sit?? do core exercises??? I guess it was that joint that needs more stabilization for me???? wild. sexual health is full body health

I gave myself a bad butt at 21 falling on Two Whole Stair Steps slipping on the carpet in my socks. My sacroiliac joint has been permanently misaligned ever since and needs to be regularly stretched to pop back in place or it'll pinch my sciatic and make me unable to walk :DD

I gave myself a bad butt at 21 falling on Two Whole Stair Steps slipping on the carpet in my socks. My sacroiliac joint has been permanently misaligned ever since and needs to be regularly stretched to pop back in place or it'll pinch my sciatic and make me unable to walk :DD

It’s not the ankle’s fault. That wasn’t even what hurt.
Remembered how round 1 of PT included teaching me to manually adjust my pelvis back to equal alignment.
Did that. Am fine now.

got an injection into my sacroiliac joint recently and my period has been SO weird this month. googling for 5 seconds is telling me that it’s super common for injections like that to heavily affect the cycle and I’m so upset now. why did the doc not tell me about this? i’ve been so worried 🫠

Yes! I say hip issue generally but accurately it's a sacroiliac oedema. Standing up and walking make it worse indeed

I just finished a year of PT for lower back pain, and as we fixed one area (paraspinal muscles) it was clear that I had been compensating for problems with my sacroiliac joint.
In short, I now do lots of stretching and strengthening. Good luck & hope you’re able to mitigate it somehow.
