Watching Underworld series through, and ngl, going through 1-3 and reaching Awakening (4) is a fucking....

First of all it's a huge quality dip. Second of all, I kinda feel like. Awakening is an amazing example of white filmakers just absolutely missing the point of a series created by a black man.

I'm saying across EVERY INDUSTRY, loads of people getting dumped by layoffs. Loads of people comming out of high school or college into the workforce. Loads of employees with experience. All funneled into the same "anyone can get this job" jobs bc it's all they can get.

And there isn't enough.

The gutting of jobs on a government side, and the requirement necessary to get a job not being reasonable for average employees. So we all fight for fast food work, that won't pay us enough, so we need multiple jobs and the whole thing isn't sustainable.

When I say this, what I mean, specifically is a world in which we don't have enough jobs for people.

Like. Jobs EVAPORATING as the digital age moves on, and more work that used to be handled by a specialist in a store, is now done by a customer on a website.

I love that apparently they didn't put the pumpkin cat in the store tonight, so in a fit of rage, I uninstalled fortnite finally last night.

I'd apparently had it with their shit and did not want to give them any more time and money.

They made me wait one too many days and FK was DONE.
