If I'd ever worried my walls aren't solid, drilling holes in them would have entirely dealt with those qualms. It's taken over an hour to get three holes deep enough for rawlplugs and I had to recharge the drill twice.

The holes are fairly snug still. Lath and plaster walls. Absolute dicks. I'd rather use an adhesive if possible. I think that'd probably be better even than drilling new holes. Either that or I get fancier Rawlplugs.

Numbers 169-151: A lot of the new album, which is surely okay since I've only heard these songs 3-5 times versus the hits?(???) I would say everything from 'Bane' onwards is now an established hit for me, and where things got complex. Onto the top 150!

Status på boligprojekt (ingen har spurgt). Den 7 åriges værelse tømt, har fjernet 4000 rawlplugs, igang med at fylde huller og efterfølgende sortering af legetøj/møbler (ud, genbrug, sælg). Jeg kan først starte maling torsdag derfor genbrugspladsen og det kedelige først. Pis.

one day i hope it to be a skill I can acquire! this was a very long process involving re-drilling holes that were inexplicably in the wrong places, pulling out rawlplugs with pliers, unnervingly different drilling experiences in different areas despite it being a brand new breezeblock wall etc

Nice relaxing morning & gentle work done in the flat so far, fixing the new air vent setup so I can easily use the air con or just vent. Old rawlplugs painted over so can refit old vent cover in the future. Also fitted remaining black wall storage for cycling stuff.

Well, who knew cutting a dowel would be so difficult? I've tried 4 different serrated knives, a tenon saw (not in mint condition) and my bread knife. Only 1 of 3 done. I can't of course actually find my little tin of dowels and rawlplugs. It's been tidied away, a while ago.

I reckon I might have been a bit unfair, having now played it 6 or 7 times. There's 3 I'm happy to skip past (the rawlplugs one is not for me, I'm afraid), a few that are just fine, and 4 that would go on a 'best of' playlist. That's not bad after 40 years really
