I love making creepy cartoony illustrations and comics loaded with storytelling.
Two middle graders hold a light blue skeleton with a mosaic texture. They look up at a casually striding green skeleton in a white suit who glares back at them with mild annoyance. He has red candles on his shoulders that drip down his suit. On his head, like an antlered headdress with a central tower are more red candles. They cast an orange glow on him and the kids and the base of a staircase which leads up to a very tall set of doors. Cascading down the stairs, following after the dapper skeleton is a pile of gold coins with assorted gold framed paintings, keys, goblets etc. The staircase has stone statues along the sides at the top, of armoured figures with long hair and skull faces. A skylight shows it's night time outside.

The text, red with a gradually increasing orange hue, shifts to a bright yellow. "N-now if you'll excuse this one, there are c-c-customers for it to serve. This one is an employee of the golden saucer, not an adventurer..."

The Bavarian Grill in Plano Texas is one of three Bavarian restaurants we go to in the area. We had a terrific Tuesday there: The ornaments on shelves, the sort-of-traditional costumes worn by the staff, the beer choices and the delicious food. Going home today but what a relaxing escape.
Two plates of food. A sausage, kraut and potato plate and my half roasted chicken with a potato casserole. Restaurant booth tables with a wall of shelves behind. The shelves are covered with typical German restaurant stuff: cups, wine goblets, scenery photos.
