Happy Halloween, Ink Imp edition! Just a few of my weird little guys (who I should make more of)

A mysterious old lady in an enormous tentacular bonnet is taking her pet for a little stroll in its carrier. What kind of pet? A mystery! With tentacles! It appears to be snacking on a nice bone.

An elegant lady in a stylish Art Deco gown bedecked in pearls and fur is walking her pet moth. She wears a large glass hat… or is that a lamp? Is the lamp her head? It’s hanging from the ceiling and does not appear to be quite attached to the body. Something VERY odd is going on here!

A mysterious bandit flees into the night, brandishing a zigzag dagger, face and figure obscured in a black greatcoat, and wearing a hat that appears to consist of an enormous candlestick, complete with lighted candle.

A weird little hairy guy runs gleefully through the night. His hands are huge, and covered with wax, and every finger is a lighted candle.

I love sitting under the blood and bones of my children.

Two skeletons are stitched into this. I drew the designs by tracing around each twin's body onto paper.
The year I made this Penultimate got sick & went to the ER. I wrapped her in this quilt. That's why it has blood on it. (She was fine.)

My legs under the quilt. It's small-just the right size to cover a toddler. The zigzag rows fill the quilt and it's bordered with lime green and deep purple edges.

Art Deco is what we now call modern design styles between WWI and WWII - "zigzag" to "streamline moderne." That bathroom is from the Truman renovation 1949-52. It is not Art Deco but 1950 modern.

Why does he capitalize all kinds of words that aren't supposed to be, and then not Art Deco which is?

Pleased to announce that this pair of kixies stockings that I only wore once before one of them disappeared has been reunited after 6 years.

A photo of the thigh portion of a really nice thigh high stocking that has layers of anti-slip silicone banding on a see-through material that really keeps these stockings up. I am displaying it on my left hand with my fingers sort of spread so you can see the amazing zigzag lace pattern in it. It's a really hard to describe pattern because it has vertical rows of round holes with a lace pattern between them that has its own gentle zigzag, and there are incidental lines that happen in this pattern that sort of make delicate see-through horizontal zigzags throughout.
