#TITANIC’s
I can see the Titanic’s big problem right there, and they say it was an iceberg.

One of the best engineering feats of its time was the addition of a swimming pool on the Titanic.

In fact, even after crashing and splitting in 2, the Titanic's swimming pool is STILL filled with water!

Merry Christmas! I hope your holiday is merrier than Liam's.

The Titanic Voyage ride stays open 'til around midnight a few times. The Titanic's clocks were supposed to be set back at midnight. Rocky wishes Liam Merry Christmas and texts him a phone game as a gift at midnight.

Before the war, in 1912, Willie Mew had signed on to join Titanic’s crew as a sauce cook. Living with the Mew family at that time was a boarder called William Slight, and the pair must have signed on together, for their signatures appear next to each other on the crew list.

And the Carpathia charged into the darkness and the minefield of icebergs to get to the Titanic’s side.

Her top safe speed was supposed to be 14 knots. She wasn’t designed to be the fastest.

She made 17 knots that night.

I could list off the Titanic's gross tonnage, length, power plant, and all kinds of other details - and thankfully for the other kids I didn't - but I *did* say: "Boats float because of displacement. Because they push more weight of water out of the way than their own weight."

Ms. Lee looked at me.

If it IS real though, first of all, real reactions later, second of all, RTD... Sort. Your. Fucking. Security. Out. This era is leakier than the Titanic's engine rooms after it hit the iceberg.

Alan Partridge: Oh yeah, people go on about “Titanic, Titanic”. Let me tell you something about the Titanic, people forget. People forget that on the Titanic’s maiden voyage, there were over a thousand miles of uneventful very pleasurable cruising before it hit the iceberg.

We don’t need to embrace them. They caused a great deal of damage, and now, all that people like MTG are doing is trying to be one of the first into the Titanic’s lifeboats. It is good she is aware of Trump‘s true colors, and is saying so publicly, but we should not confuse her for an ally.

If you think about it, the Titanic’s original trip was unfortunately “an immersive voyage” …

"Those of you too poor to make it onto one of the Titanic's life rafts should put on your flotation vest. It won't save you, but it will give you just enough hope to prevent you from rioting."

Here’s the finished model of the Prometheus heater that once stood in Captain Smith’s cabin and now rests on the Titanic’s well deck -yes, it is *that* yellow, judging from all the reference I’ve seen.

Agreed. After the election in November, my closest friends had to remind me of this. Even something that's purely for entertainment holds a piece of protest in it when our society is trying to quash joy out of us. There are still times I feel like the string quartet on the Titanic's deck, though.

And no I'm not surprised at all, I mean, they literally scrapped Titanic's sister ship, the RMS Olympic back in 1936, and Lusitania's sister ship RMS Mauretania on the same year and same place, Jarrow.
When will we learn to preserve ships with historical significance?
