Most true crime stories leave me feeling outraged and horrified but not bereaved. Sophie's case though went my heart directly like a bullet and ran through my blood like water.

18. i don't follow a specific type of fashion subculture or anything. if it's pink, pastel, and/or dreamy, i wear it. the closest approximations are yume kawaii, lolita, & lovecore i guess. it's gotta be super cute, eccentric, & even a little obnoxious (not sure why i listed 3 terms 3 times)

it's a cult startup incubator? like, it's a subculture of people who actually know each other, that's important. and quite a lot of them are deeply fried by the experience and try to start a cultist group house or whatever

a lot of what people are nostalgic for in the early 2000s was also 2000s *subculture*. If you're goth or emo or whatever this is the best possible time to be any of those things. I was a kid but all the alt teens in my life were getting bullied/harassed like crazy. also we didn't have gay marriage

See normally i dont trust celebs when they say they werent on the island. But also Tony Hawk came from a literally very punk subculture so im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. For now. Dont make me regret this mr hawk.

I did an IYKYK to a podcast name that out of context seems inappropriate and is based in drag subculture. I gave other clues in the sentence so if anyone wanted to put the pieces together, they could. But I try not to do it often cause I feel like it’s gate keeping sorta?

Yes and no. Dress Up Darling is way more idealized. That's not saying it's better or worse, just different. It's like... your friends and the subculture the way they are in your head. A world full of the beauty you want to see. It's unrealistic, but true to experience.
