The Senate is supposed to vote on DHS funding next week. There shouldn’t be a single Democratic vote for it.

Defund the whole thing.

How many more murders will it take? US Senators have a chance to prevent funding for ICE. Will they speak out and stand up? We’re waiting….

This is one of the very rare times where no matter what lens you use (moral, political, logical, financial, liberal, conservative, whatever) the answer is the same.

This is not partisan. This is human.
This is a failed operation. End it. Now.
This has to stop! MINIMUM demands at this point:
- ICE out of Minnesota now
- arrest and charge the shooters, those associated
- no more funding for ICE, associated depts
- abolish ICE, reallocate funding to real needs
- shut down the government to do so, halt tax payments to do so

Content warning. ICE fascists pistol whip a person, pile on him 5-1, and then murder him in broad daylight. Do not believe a word of the story from ICE or DHS. This is a fascist regime and they will lie. We must abolish and prosecute ICE. This cannot go on.

In the wake of ICE murdering a civilian today, Congress must act to:
1. Get ICE out of MN
2. Arrest the ICE officer responsible and hold him accountable
3. investigate and hold this Administration accountable for federal overreach.

This is the only correct position, and the inevitable response from knee-jerk centrist reactionaries of "it won't work" is not a valid objection. Every member of Congress has a duty to say that what Noem has been doing is not acceptable.
I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy.

She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

🚨NEW: Federal officers like ICE agents have been routinely prosecuted by states for violating state laws, up to and including murder, since the 1800s.
Minnesota has every ability to do this with today's killing of a motorist by an ICE agent.

Based on the reporting, it seems there were Minneapolis police in the vicinity when this ICE agent killed her. How is it not standard operating procedure to take the shooter into custody?
Arrest the shooter, for chrissakes. It's murder. Arrest the shooter.

This sort of energy we need going forward. President Obama and Biden both were mistaken to not prosecute those who committed torture, committed fraud and broke laws in the financial crisis during Bush 2 years and obviosly all the Trump attempt to overturn the election and stealing classified docs.
I was wondering what Mamdani's first executive order would be, and I'm not disappointed by this.

He has wiped off the books EVERY Eric Adams executive order issued on or after September 26, 2024, the day Adams was indicted on federal bribery charges.

Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.
