Minneapolis had three of these within 17 days, so you'll need to be more specific with your headline.

I feel like it's a good time to restate that my rapist was never prosecuted by the Republican DA at the time for Tarrant County in Texas, who served for 3 decades. In fact he had some of the lowest prosecution rates for SA and rape cases. Republicans have always defended rapists and predators.
The complete refusal from the Department of Justice and FBI to investigate the allegations in the Epstein Files and made by Epstein survivors is also proof of what victims everywhere go through every day when authority figures refuse to do anything about what happened to them

Power Query is simultaneously very magical and good at what it does and also my personal nemesis, much like Excel as a whole tbh.

lol. lmao. this happening against the backdrop of me literally still recovering from a bad bout of the flu + a secondary bacterial infection is super amazing. the trump admin wants us to fucking die.
It is absolutely outrageous that Moderna’s flu vaccine was met with a “refusal-to-file” even after their approved their protocol with FDA and carried out the trial as agreed. This vaccine works better in older adults than the current flu vaccines.

Moderna says FDA refuses its application for new mRNA flu vaccine
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is refusing to consider Moderna’s application for a new flu vaccine made with mRNA technology.

If you won’t say this, you should not hold public office
AOC: We are going to have to reckon, as a country, with this time. And I hope that that reckoning includes prosecution of people who are involved with the lawbreaking and human rights violations they are knowingly engaging in right now.

one of the v. frustrating things about being mentally ill to the degree i am is watching someone who's awful (unrelated to any speculated mental health crisis) clearly be going through a mental health crisis and people cracking jokes about it and/or acting like it's somehow deserved.

Hey Chuck, I know the Baileys. They are solidly on board with abolishing ICE at this point. Eileen is driving her friend Luisa's mom to chemo and calls me up to say she's just aghast at how scared she is.

not going to like, pretend to understand Minnesota politics but this seems like such a fucking stupid ass idea when your populace is v. clearly against ICE's actions and continues to actively and vocally demonstrate against the horrors being committed.

This is not actually the commonsense solution. The commonsense solution is taking a very major recent change that has wreaked havoc on people in the US, and undoing it when it turns out the change did not help towards any reasonable aims.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

one of the genuinely exhausting things about being already chronically ill is when i get sick in a "normal" way (e.g. the flu like i currently have) it is also a crisis that could hospitalize me

As someone who works in business ops right now, I'm REALLY glad to see someone break down opex/capex in simple words for ppl. It's niche and kinda the least important part of the video, but people really fundamentally seem to misunderstand/have no understanding of how businesses think collectively.

The way Biden and his party treated Omar and Rashida Tlaib was reprehensible. Openly contemptuous and racist.
Holy shit. The Biden DOJ investigated Ilhan Omar???

Moynihan is probably one of the singular most hostile architectures I've run into in my travels. Legit seating is a luxury there (you either have to have lounge access via Acela/Business class or get lucky and find a spot in the small seating area for ticketed passengers)

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies.

May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism.

This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs.

Vaccinate your pets please.

Seasonal reminder that US law is and has been so captured by the rich that if there is a massive safety issue/emergency (e.g. once in a lifetime storm), your employer can fire you for not risking life and limb to commute to work under federal law, and most states are not any better.

calling the concentration camps Trump and co-conspirators have set up "facilities" is... deeply disturbing. I have 0 expectations that the media (either out of genuine collaboration or attempts to avoid getting attacked) are going to accurately report anymore, but c'mon.

fun fact that bluesky "public benefit" LLC does not have to verify government accounts or allow them on the app. i'd argue that they actually have a trust and safety reason to NOT do so. however, i would be arguing with leadership who probably secretly voted for trump.

Hey, people are permanently losing their eyesight at some of these protests and have been for some time. These people, the ones that have put their bodies on the line, are among the people who would benefit from your usage of alt-text when posting protest related imagery.

Gavin Newsom has never had a homeless, a working unhoused, or an affordable housing advocate on his podcast despite governing California.

So yeah I think it’s weird that he’s entertained & platformed multiple fascists while grinning, nodding & relenting to their easily defeatable talking points.
