Sometimes it's frustrating to not be able to come down on a side of an argument. But this is one of those instances where I don't think there's a right answer. The system is so broken. The best solution would be to pump £bns into it. Can I see the public choosing that over eg NHS or pensions? No.

Anyways, we have a major political party leader who is a de facto English nationalist and I think that should probably be a bigger deal.
Or when he says he wants Welsh and Scottish independence, but appears to have not really thought about English independence and says he doesn't want to drive this. But he, de facto, does!

I think part of What's Going On with billionaires is that the daily friction of interacting with normal people is part of what anchors people to the real world, and once you have enough money to buy your way out of the friction you can knock down a load-bearing column propping up your sanity.
