It was an unforgivable dereliction of duty that the majority of elected congressional Republican office holders were not in prison for open insurrection by March 2021.
I think it’s a reflection of their own attitudes. Both Biden and they were trying to live in a fantasy where those 4 years were a return to normalcy as opposed to the most urgent moment in American history to preserve what was left of democracy.

Some of you have forgotten that only three years ago you were perfectly capable of writing a text, writing an email, telling a bedtime story to a child, and it should worry you that powerful companies have convinced us we can’t do things we’ve been doing since the dawn of time.

The spectre of AI is a fun addition to the creative self-doubt I normally experience when working on a TTRPG. Did the mechanics I think I came up with subconsciously come from another game? Would that coincidence lead to accusations of plagiarism if I decide to take it public?

the biggest lie the british press tell about trans ppl isn't actually about trans ppl.

it's their claim that 'gender critical' is a grass roots movement.

it's a ruling class bigotry sparked and spurred on by the american religious right. it's a media and political class bigotry.

And now everyone is watching it anyway without any ratings or ad revenue for CBS. An all-time backfire.

here's the 60 minutes cecot video part 1 of 5 - recorded/uploaded by and all credit to @jasonparis.bsky.social

I just reduced background noise, chopped the 14 minutes into 3 minute segments each compressed under 100 mb for bsky's limits, cropped and rotated a few degrees for easier viewing on here

CBS paid the president of the United States millions in bribe money and now they censor news reports so it does not annoy him. I don’t know how much plainer we can put this.

Ok, I trust mine to protect me too. Which is why I trained it extensively on what the virus looks like so it can handle it.

i feel like one thing that we should be making abundantly clear from now on is that the majority of anti-trans consent manufacturers are goddamn pedophiles.

are you going to believe what a bunch of pedophiles say about us? what does that say about you?

So I looked up what Pluribus is about and no thanks. Definitely one of those shows I'm glad people like, but I'm not confronting one of my most existential fears for a serialized drama.

I tolerate enough "let's examine time travel" to not add "let's take a good hard look at hive minds" to my life.
