This is genuinely so bad, he can’t even answer basic questions from budding teen atheists lmfao. It’s like that scene in game of thrones when all the children ganged up and stabbed grand maester pycelle to death

We were hoping that this letter to @bsky.app could first be shared by a Gazan, but we were too worried that doing so would get their account deleted so we are sharing first.

You can sign on to the letter about the unfair treatment of Gazans on Bluesky here:

This scrum of pot-bellied, sunken-chested betas trying to bully an all-black clad badass Eastern European wasteland survivor while dressed like Men’s Wearhouse mannequins is peak cinema.
GLENN: Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office & you refuse to wear a suit. A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the office.

ZELENSKYY: I will wear a costume after this war will finish. Maybe something like yours. Maybe something better.

Does anyone here pay for #MixCloud and have any thoughts on that (is it work paying for)? I’ve just started using the app again after not using it for years and can’t tell if it’s something that people are still using as the main place to put up new mixes. Do people even make mixes anymore?

I'm afraid what risks 'hollowing out' London is property prices, foreign consortia owning countless empty buildings, rental costs, the decimation of nightlife, gentrification and Pretification and the demise of in person shopping. It should be somewhere we want to go not have to.

#PopWillEatItself the superior version of the original tune. Even the 14yr old me knew this at the time. There’s a fun live version that they filmed for The Word on Channel Four which I stayed up late for. Say what you like about PWEI, but they were just what I needed.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

checked the track Aphex Twin sampled for "Xtal"... don't get me wrong, LOVE a beefy sample dispute, but to claim "Xtal musically is basically what we created" is a bit like saying I look like the Mona Lisa because we both have eyes www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGRa...

In January 2021, during the third national lockdown, I pulled into this deserted pub car park to turn the van round and found a lamppost and a bin engaged in lively conversation while they thought no one was looking. Incredible.

This 2022 interview with Mary Sweeney is well worth your time, BTW. Writer, editor, producer, worked with Lynch in all those capacities over two decades, briefly married to him.

The US filmmaker has died aged 78. As a tribute, we have made the extended cover feature that appeared in The Wire 486 - for which Lynch also designed the cover - free to read in our online library.
