Essential reading for slow heartbreak. Books like this are very precious to me, ones that bring the mundane to the spotlight. It’s hard to not think of it as a memoir. It probably is, in a lot of ways.

Fun, but spatially confusing. This was a premise RIPE for toxic lesbianism but there wasn’t a sniff of it beyond vague undercurrents, and as-is the climax requires way too much suspension of belief for me.

Horror can be tender, especially horror centered on such a literal manifestation of grief. This was very well done.
