Understanding Non-Alcoholic Wine. My personal take is that the majority of no-alcohol wines I have tried at press tastings have been insipid and/or far too sweet, and generally nothing like wine:

“I’ve read every study and report I could find that looked specifically at the economics of bike lanes since 1984.”

“The results show that making streets friendlier for bikes, and sidewalks friendlier for pedestrians, is actually good for business.“
“Survey after survey has shown that business owners overestimate how many customers drive to their stores vs walking or biking. In a 2012 Los Angeles study, more than half of the store owners on the bike-laned part of the boulevard thought most of their customers drove. The actual number was 15%.”
I read all the studies on the economic impact of bike lanes. Here's what I learned.
Research proves that bike lanes are good for business. So why do so many stores and restaurants still oppose them?

I think the Americans have the right idea putting a major holiday in between Halloween and Christmas. Join me this week, fellow Canadians, as we celebrate in the inaugural Feast of Mr. Dressup. We will eat ketchup chips with puppets and hold the Christmas music at bay.

The thing that gets me the most in this bill to circumvent renters' security and rent controls is the whinging excuse of mom-and-pop landlords trying to pay the mortgage.
They took the risk on that property. They are not owed the ability to always make a profit.
Doug Ford government proposes to allow tenant evictions when leases are up in new bill
Currently, tenants are protected from eviction unless there is a legal reason — such as unpaid rent or the landlord wants to move in — even after their lease expires.

As we have seen from Gambero Rosso and the Connoisseur's Guide, the 3-point scale simply does not resonate with most wine consumers.
Michelin announces -- in French, bien sûr -- that it plans to rate wines as it does restaurants.

I LOVE the idea of wine being rated on Michelin's 3-star scale. But, I have questions about Michelin's intentions.
