Agree that seems the most likely scenario except I would expect them to want to rate the winery “experience” as well which they can’t do consistently or anonymously.

So, last week the Michelin Guide let slip the fact that they were getting into the wine review business (this despite already owning the Wine Advocate). This "announcement" raises MANY MANY questions. Some of which I've tried to capture here: www.vinography.com/2... #winethreads
What Exactly is the Michelin Guide Up To?
In a press conference last week, executives at the Michelin Guide indicated they'd soon start reviewing wines. Here are my thoughts.

I think there’s a lot of wisdom in that approach. And I’d be willing to bet, Gallo is on it at least a little bit already.

Last week I spent an engaging hour or so chatting with Adam Huss of Beyond Organic Wine on his podcast (@organicwinepodcast ). We talked about sustainability, the future of hybrids, and lots more. Take a listen!:

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why no one is snapping up Quartz Reef, one of New Zealand's top wineries, and an absolute diamond in the rough, from my perspective. www.vinography.com/2... #winethreads
Why Hasn't Anyone Bought Quartz Reef Yet?

Every Friday I post a wine-related photo for your viewing enjoyment. This past week was a look at a section of one of the Rheingau's most famous sites, Rudesheimer Berg.

Every year the Historic Vineyard Society puts on a tasting of wines made from the 50+-yr-old vineyards that they catalog and certify. I recently published my notes on my favorite wines from this year's tasting. www.vinography.com/2... #winethreads

WINERIES: If Petrus can sell for $4500 in a bottle weighing 550 grams there's NO F*CKING plausible excuse for bottling your wine in glass weighing 950 grams. It's a big middle finger to the environment, & speaks volumes about your ego. Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Democrats want a government funding bill that won't raise your health care costs by 75%.

Trump won't even meet with them.

He’s shutting the government down and making health care even more expensive for families.

What a bad deal for America.
