It was a weird TSC meeting where I found myself somewhat agreeing with Trish Purdy, or at least appreciating her honesty.

I found the “we should do this because it has a good public perception” frustrating. How we spend our limited budget on road safety should be based on evidence, not on vibes

Hey @nature.com, have you got an explanation for how the hell THIS happened? & especially why you accepted a paper with such a bizarre piece of genAI slop in it?!
& more to the point, why we should take you seriously at all going forward?
