The amount of internet users that have been revealed to be the product of botfarms and astroturfing campaigns is depressing but not surprising, but also I find this weirdly freeing?

It's weird to not only have lived through an information revolution but also now living through its undoing, all within less than a generation.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

Use sketches. Use lorem ipsum. Use bright pink materials. Use programmer art for fucks sake, literally anything else.
If your studio is using AI even for temp, even if they think they've covered their tracks, SPEAK UP because people WILL FIND IT

Hot take: I don’t. Every “vibes seems off” post about a video I’ve been apart of- and I mean from basic “this person was not into this” and “seems like someone didn’t want to be here” has been wrong.
It’s usually either:
-a projection of their own feelings
-based on outside information received

I think everyone's allowed a "hm, vibes feel off" comment about people they see in content, but essays like this start veering into "I picked this as a kickoff point to continue an argument I've been having in my own head for years" basically immediately and it's just jumping at shadows and shit.
