this is how you get people who think it took professional grade logistics to drop a few thousand hand warmers in Minneapolis.

it's okay though, I'm sure war doesn't require any sort of logistics or supplies more complicated than that.
Update. It's worse than I possibly could have imagined.

Tubman’s story is truly so incredible that it makes sense some people would be skeptical of the events but no their criticisms are like “the Underground Railroad wasn’t literally underground so it’s fake” and “she changed her name when she got married”

society is so far beyond saving 🙃🙃🙃
I can't believe that just in my lifetime we went from the conscious Black Pride hip hop of the 90's to the "Harriet Tubman wasn't real" Tik Toks of today.

What kills me is that in DiCola's full score, a part that got heavily cut/quieted down was him incorporating "Dare To Be Stupid" INTO THE SCORE as Hot Rod befriends the Junkions. It fucking ROCKS.

Orban is an authoritarian leader that Steve Bannon said was "Trump before Trump."

Hungary is the model for MAGA acolytes.

They're not hiding it.
Via PBS News Hour, Marco Rubio, US Secretary of State, today endorsed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

"Your sucess is our sucess," Rubio said.

Orbán, of course, has been the model for controlling the news media as a way to stay in power.

Prison-Style Free Speech Censorship Is Coming for the Rest of Us
The outcome of a court case could decide whether the Trump administration can criminalize simply possessing political literature.

So I used to argue with Noah Rothman on Twitter. Originally he was very opposed to Trump. He even said he was writing an anti Trump book from the right. But then he saw where the money was, pivoted the book to be another Dem-bashing book and since then he’s a Trump bootlicker like all the rest.
Noah Rothman on the Epstein files: "It is a witch hunt. It‘s a moral panic."

In many ways, the ICE drawdown in Minnesota reminds me of the “end” of the pandemic.

It’s only over for the people least affected. And even then, the slow, quiet escalation of harm will continue to move a lot of new people out of the “safe” category.

Like, I've never voted for my own harm reduction. There's no "police can no longer murder black people whenever they feel like" candidate for President and there never will be. And I, personally, have accepted that. But others want me to be grateful for this &, lol, not cynical, which is insulting.
