Practicing care has always been a crime.

“The corporate-indentured Democratic Party, our purported opposition, blocks the only mechanism that can save us — popular mass movements and strikes. Better to let the whole ship go down than surrender their status and privilege.”

Chris Hedges
I’m hoping that people will start seeing this as a systemic problem and dealing with it holistically rather than tactically.

Historically, this is the time where the majority of people bow out because
they don’t know how to sustain collective action.
The abductions and violence/murders are horrific and need to stop.

AND we also need to be talking more about the suffering of neighbors across Minneapolis and MN who have been forced to hide in their homes for 2 MONTHS, unable to work, feed their families and get medical care.
So much coverage focuses on the guns and tear gas and filmed confrontations and it IS all that. I don't want to downplay anything.

But it's also NOT JUST that, you know? The fear and violence and community action is also present in the most placid-seeming corners of town. As in any occupation.

Community care and mutual aid extends to all members of our community in our fight for justice. Including care for sex workers to the protective umbrella of community here in the twin cities is imperative.
Mutual aid for Minneapolis sex workers needed!

I don’t see protestors. I see neighbors who care about their community.

Walz running around to every media outlet now that it looks like HE, not the community, has a win. How many days was he in hiding not saying a word nor doing a thing to keep the community safe?

The community still under attack btw, Timmy.

I don't find the reform of "requiring judicial warrants" particularly compelling, but then again, I watched as folks said "requiring warrants" would stop no knock raids.
(It did not)

I won’t believe the Dems are intentionally throwing the Minnesota gubernatorial election until they name Jacob as the Klobuchar’s Lieutenant Governor candidate.

Politicians and the media always pushing narratives to normalize placing people outside the protection of the law.

Does the Democratic Party want politicians with a backbone?
Do we have any politicians in this state with a moral and ethical backbone?
I’ve always been on Team Amy. Let’s go!

What did it look like when they polled the oligarchs who just happen to be in control of both parties?
New poll — Abolishing ICE continues its historic surge of support.

46% support
43% oppose

80% of Democrats and 15% of Trump voters support abolishing ICE.
Independents are +8 on the question.

Seems like we’re doing what we’ve always done. The victims may be different but the tactics and goals have always been the same.
What in the fuck are we even doing anymore?
Two people have been abducted from Scotland in the middle of the night by the US military. Despite an order from our highest court that they be kept here.

The Scottish Government must show that actions have consequences by evicting American troops from their base at publicly-owned Prestwick Airport

One part of going through a personal transformation is moving from illusioned to disillusioned.

Many people previously seeing Walz as a protector are now appropriately disillusioned and see him as Minnesota’s steward of state surveillance and violence.
TIM WALZ: “I don't agree with Tom Homan’s philosophy on things, but I do understand that he is law enforcement and he understands right and wrong.”
January 28, 2026 at 1:34 PM
Anyone else looking forward to Klobuchar arguing how the surveillance state keeps us safe from dangerous criminals?

Gonna be in the Olympic Village knocking on dorm rooms asking athletes, “do you know where the Asians are?”
January 27, 2026 at 9:28 PM
Chances Walz or Jacob say anything about the out of control surveillance state.

Minneapolis City Council member Jason Chavez has been a hero throughout, advocating, witnessing, speaking up, getting assaulted by ICE thugs, but still never failing to help the people he represents. Bravo @jchavezmpls.bsky.social
Dear neighbor, It is not the time to let your guard down, nor is it the time to stop organizing.

While Bovino will be leaving Minneapolis along with some U.S. Border Patrol agents, there is still no specific plan that has been communicated to the public. 1/

Yes, the database is enormous with a lot of Minnesotans with high scores but the first people targeted will be the most vulnerable.

Remember, the entire national security apparatus has been mobilized against this database from DHS, DOD, Justice, FBI, Treasury, IRS, etc. and all tools will be used.
Here’s the deal, they captured my face standing outside of my kid’s preschool in a high-viz vest. The database is going to be so big it’ll be useless. Employers will ask why you aren’t in the database and unless you explain you were doing mutual aid, the people hiring will think you’re a bad person.
TOM HOMAN: “We’re going to create a database where those people that are arrested for interference, impeding and assault, we’re going to make them famous. We’re going to put their face on TV. We’re going to let their employers, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, know who these people are.”

Sincere thanks to everyone who has supported us so far! ✊🏼 Sadly, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey refuses to sign the unanimous call to enact an eviction moratorium, so we still need help by 1/31.

I am so, so fucking tired of this. They are executing my neighbors to complete an ethnic cleansing campaign. this is not about the fucking Epstein files. If you’re one of the losers pushing this narrative, go fuck yourself.
They figured out a nifty way to keep the Epstein files out of the news cycle: publicly execute American citizens.
