First pottery class done! Never done this before but I really enjoyed it and my instructor was impressed by my first attempts. I picked it up pretty quickly and made what I wanted (a yunomi 湯のみ) after my third attempt. It was then cut in half to better understand the process 😅

Part of me doesn't quite agree with reviewing a game badly for biased reasons, but also a much larger part of me is in FULL agreement with putting a studio on blast for its continued use of AI to undercut voice actors and creatives for the BS excuse of time and budget. Embark can afford all of it!
For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

I've just been playing some of Hypogea and it's absolutely wonderful!
A really well designed platforming third person adventure with some really novel traversal mechanics. This has to be the first ever "pole-vault em' up", surely!

Decided to check out a few rooftop bar/restaurants a couple of nights ago. First one was great. Cocktails, nice food, chill ambiance.
The second one was all tourists and students then I turned into this.

Fuck Schumer really is a coward huh? It’s clear he’s always been benefiting somehow when he sides with Republicans.

In the times of early man, sticking one’s hand into fire would be a learning experience for everyone else not to do it.
Aaaaaanyhoo, here’s people hurting themselves over and over again because they saw someone else do it.

I love that the Boston cop slide never got fixed and now people just willingly go down it in tribute. It’s basically a national landmark at this point

I just finished watching the first two episodes. What a wild and surreal show! It really is crazy to think about how this plot all works together and the sheer scale of it conceptually.
It definitely feels on par with something like Severance.
Rhea Seehorn is also perfect in this.

Folks, Vince Gilligan’s done it again with #Pluribus. An absolute sci-fi masterpiece featuring a tremendous lead performance from Rhea Seehorn. It may sound counterintuitive in a review, but go into this one knowing as little as possible:
'Pluribus' Review: 23 Years Later, 'Breaking Bad's Creator Returns to Sci-Fi With an Absolute Masterpiece on Apple TV
23 years after his time on The X-Files, Vince Gilligan returns to sci-fi for Pluribus, a stunning new Apple TV series starring Rhea Seehorn.

I've finally seen @realgdt.bsky.social's Frankenstein and it's tremendously wonderful. It's easy to see how this movie has been a lifelong obsession to be made and it's all the more richer a story for it. An exceptional journey through all the parts of humanity, both ugly and beautiful. 15/10!

perhaps the most egregious thing that happened with the Future Class was when The Game Awards took money from Old Spice in the name of the FC & simply... pocketed it
it wasn't used to fund Future Class initiatives, it wasn't used to help lift marginalised developers
they just profited from us

EXCLUSIVE on @gamedeveloper.bsky.social: not only has The Game Awards not nominated a Future Class for 2025, it's told alumni it "does not have any active programming plans" for the award.
The Future Class page was taken down sometime this year—eliminating a definitive archive of honorees.
