I heard there was a secret ooze
It turned four turtles into dudes
But you don't really care for pizza, do ya?

They fought like this,
Two swords, a stick
A couple sai
Some nunchuck tricks
Those Ninja boys-a callin

The decision a lot of universities face now is whether to:

-- have their federal funding pulled because they stood on principle to protect their students and the integrity of their research, or

-- have their funding pulled anyway just because they exist, regardless of how cravenly they submit.

"Democrats will get a bad ruling from the parliamentarian and they'll say, 'welp, what could we possibly do?' Whereas the Republicans are like, 'the parliamentarian says we can't do that so let's just get a new fucking parliamentarian.' And that's a microcosm for the broader fight."

A) There shouldnt be corporations at Pride marches anyway
B) They’re telling you their support was always conditional to begin with
C) Rainbow capitalism will not save you

Remember their names and if you choose, never support them again the same way many are already doing with Target

This Day in Labor History: March 19, 1917. The Supreme Court upheld the Adamson Act, passed the year before and which created the eight hour day on the railroad. This was a shocking decision that created the principle of the federal government intervening in the labor conditions of private industry!

This was about companies wasting money on AI, but it's true about the last half century of American enterprise generally.
Setting the cash on fire, most importantly, sends a message to the employees.

This is a grave and sobering admission: they are not pursuing the “WELL ACTUALLY he broke the law during protests,” they are bragging that they are deporting people for protected speech.
NEW: White House says the arrest and deportation of student activist & legal US resident, Mahmoud Khalil, is a blueprint for more.

The final line here is chilling. The White House specifically says Khalil was not breaking the law.

No evidence, no due process, no crime. He was just disappeared.

Your indictments of a potential communist system can’t be issues we have not solved after hundreds of years of capitalism and they can’t be things capitalism has repeatedly historically produced. You look silly.

Another word for "regulation" is...

"consumer protection"
"environmental protection"

"Regulation" means your milk is safe. "Regulation" means toys that harm your babies are removed from the shelves. "Regulation" means chemical companies can't dump waste in your river.
my kingdom for an elected official who will stand up and defend the fact that the government employs people to test wastewater and send old people money and keep an eye on the bears in the park and make sue the people that scammed you

Ughhhhh another AI hallucination from Google. Homosexuality was definitely not legal in New York in the 1960s! State Penal Law 130.08 explicitly banned "deviate sexual intercourse" and was used almost exclusively to go after gays. Stop using Google for research.
