Battletech Alpha Strike with @battlebrushstudios.bsky.social and @cgoepa.bsky.social at a friend's house yesterday. Maybe I found the Battletech game I actually enjoy playing. Classic Battletech is far too procedural and slow for my taste. Alpha Strike gives a fast, furious and fun game.

Played "Pinpricks of success" for "Through the mud and the blood" today. My biggest game so far with 2 attacking platoons plus a pair of tanks vs 2 under strength defenders.
I got to chat ideas with @roundwoodsworld.bsky.social before hand and I think we got a pretty good game!

Awaiting their L6 Wombats on Tuesday, but otherwise this platoon of British Mechanised infantry of the Berlin Brigade is all done. One more 432 for them and those will be finished as well. These have been a joy to paint in parts. Can’t wait to play them!

#WW3CheckpointCharlie is go, as 15 T-62 roll off the painting table. These are painted up as Soviets but I left them free of markings (not atypical for Soviets) for multiple use.

I tried a quick color scheme test for my mercenary company on this Dervish DV-6M. I'm not to happy with the pale yellow or how the tiger stripes turned out. Maybe brighter yellow? Maybe something else?
