First full troop complete!

Command tanks next, then I’ve got the next three chieftains to do and that will be all the heavy armour in the force complete. Then on to fiddly bits! This is accurately replicated Camo, but it might get busy for smaller vehicles.

I think so long as you have a long brush tip and a steady hand it shouldn’t be super hard :)

Yeah so basically I took the original design from here and just pencilled it exactly on BF's model which fits perfectly. Sharpish HB pencil onto the undercoated model and it was enough for me to keep in the lines flush. Using mask on it would absolutely shatter me.

Thank you so much! Actually I thought I’d be like Edvard Munches scream but once I got in the groove it took me about 90mins. Took 25 mins to pencil up from the original template, but the painting wasn’t bad!

Teaching the kids to traverse no man’s land with our ‘scout school’ game. Taken from the field manuals to train with in late war, participants get from one side to the other without rattling a can or alerting the sentry.

Great fun! We had lots of people round for multiple attempts.

5 Years ago @mikesouthphotos.bsky.social took some smashing shots of us marking the 103rd (now 107th) anniversary of the Attack at St Quentin, where the 10th Essex and 18th Division kicked the door in of the German Defenders in the 100 days.
