Yes, Henry Cavill is a great ambassador for the hobby, however, Peter Cushing would be my personal choice for 'Warmaster of Wargaming.'

If I'm not wrong, I believe he has a copy of HG Wells' 'Little Wars' in the last photograph too. 👍

So normally if Warlord sends me items, they'll email and let me know in advance. I knew they were sending the Wotan I posted yesterday, but this Thor arrived and I hadn't been told it was coming. It was also sent by Warlord! 😅👍

I got an unexpected delivery from Warlord and I'm certainly not complaining!!

I guess I'll be adding this Thor Heavy Panzermech to my Axis army too. 👍

I've got another Firefly squad on the way to completion and then the my Army CO's Vanguard to do.

The Wotan heavy panzer mech is built and ready for painting this afternoon.

It's certainly an impressive looking mech and is solid resin, so quite weighty.

I can't wait to start painting it in my urban camouflage scheme.

I painted a squad of @warlordgames.com s US Rangers this weekend. These guys will be used with my Konflikt '47 US army as they are old tech & make cheap fodder & a tempting target for the Axis forces.

Also, if I ever decide to get into Bolt Action, they can be used for that too.

That's great! I'm 43 and Me and my mate occasionally play Rainbow 6 Siege or Valorant, but in the past year we've barely played at all. I think we've both hit that point where videogames are less appealing.

Hence the LMG. 😅 You can afford to miss a couple of shots! I didn't mind sniping, but not at close quarters. I used Engineer class mostly. My mate was usually support with ammo & the missus went medic. We played through Bf3, 4, Hardline, BF1, BFV and even 2042 (😕). None of us have played in a year.

Oh yeah, the Sun was ridiculously bright, and the suppression effect was a bit mad too.

I'd love to build a board based on Gulf of Oman or Grand Bazaar. They wete my favourites and would be amazing to game on. Maybe a future project. 👍

Loved the operation metro meat grinder servers. Although admins would abuse the hell out of it. Getting kicked for doing well or getting a good flank with a suppressed M249B and backraging the enemy team, was infuriating! 😅 They've never really been able to replicate Metro though. Sad.

I started playing Battlefield with Bad Company 2. This is the first time I haven't bought a Battlefield game at launch.

WIP: Just working on the 2IC Firefly Officer. I've added some markings to his helmet and jump pack wings, to help distinguish him on the battlefield.

WIP: The ruined house is almost finished and features a Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor perch area. I made some window frames and a dislodged front door from some scrap wood, some peeling wallpaper and made some beams using various parts from the K47 terrain sprue.

I've got another 4 Fireflies to build, 2 to accompany each of the platoon commanders. More on them tomorrow.

Tonight I'm starting on the final 6-man Firefly squad, plus I'm building another 4 Fireflies, 2 to accompany each officer.

Then onto the second M2A5 Linebacker Walker. This will complete the armoured platoon.

I'm currently working on another bit of terrain for Konflikt 47.
