I posted earlier that Trump would try to grab Greenland and claim it's for "security reasons."

Hitler did the same with the Netherlands.

Just follow the playbook.
Trump: "We need Greenland from a national security situation. It's so strategic. Right now, Greenland is covered with Russian and Chinese ships all over the place. We need Greenland from the standpoint of national security. And Denmark is not gonna be able to do it ... the EU needs us to have it"

Question: But the president’s statements that he believed the election was rife with fraud—those are statements protected by the First Amendment, correct?

Smith: Absolutely not. If they are made to target a lawful government function and are made with knowing falsity, then no, they are not.

Beyond @atrupar.com’s on point description of this (and every other) unhinged, nakedly racist and fascist post from Trump, it is important to note that the regime has been intensifying attacks on opposition members of Congress.

And I think that is actually a calculated strategy for what comes next.

Musk deciding to aim his Death Star at the 2026 elections is the biggest political story since the election, if not of the whole year.

We know his playbook. And we know his greatest advantage is Democrats' fear of fighting his fire with water.

What's confusing to me is that there's no such thing as a federal law against domestic terrorism in the US. So...what exactly do they mean by this?

The bottom half of America? It holds just 6%.

This is critically important. Democrats need to pass it if they retake Congress. Trump will veto it. So pass it again. Campaign on it. Given current polling, corruption of the FBI, and the brutality of ICE and BP, there’s no better time to say, “Federal police are not above the law.”
