So after we got over that whole McCarthyism crap in the 50s, we got the freedom of the 60s and the weirdness of the 70s and I just really hope I'm around to see straight men in makeup and crop tops and heels in 2040, dancing to Space Disco with long hair and mustaches once we're through ALL THIS.

I live across the street from a park. God help me. Thank heaven for noise cancelling headphones.
A reminder that gas-powered leafblowers are nightmare devices that are bad for you, bad for your lawn, and very bad for the environment. They fume and scream and kill the world all so you can messily and ineffectively move leaves around, leaves which are generally supposed to stay where they fell.

It's a great cosmic joke that neurodivergence both runs in families and gets diagnosed based on parent reports. I was diagnosed at 30 because a man who has eaten potatoes every day for 57 years and a woman who collects loose buttons decided I was a perfectly normal child.

Because what is ACTUALLY hard is knowing that I do have power

& I know it is not enough
