One thing about being thrown into hostels and interacting constantly with total strangers in precarious situations I cannot get used to is how frequently people will blurt out wildly regressive views in the middle of a lengthy, otherwise totally normal conversation.

Absolutely nobody should agree to this, there is not a single legitimate reason for offering a contract like this.

Sometimes I think about the incomprehensible scale of devastation consulting companies wreak simply bcuz they're too cheap to hire advisors with in-depth knowledge & life experience, instead preferring children too green to even know not to work 100 hours a week to advise literal countries on policy
