JRPGs need to stop trying to be bad western MMOs. Please. It's embarrassing.
Don't think i'm gonna go through every single Mega Man game necessarily but i definitely want to highlight the original trilogy, maybe Mega Man X since it was such a game-changer for the series.
And possibly a couple of the weird obscure ones like the DOS games.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a better Persona game than Anything Atlus has made in a decade
Mega Man 2. The first game acquired a following but wasn't exactly a roaring success, prompting Capcom to move on to other things. Its developers insisted the format and lobbied hard to create a sequel to implement many of the ideas ROM and time constraints of '87 wouldn't allow.

Schumer allowing the ACA to be gutted is actually insane. Like, so many Americans are directly and immediately affected by this, and it’s easy to point to the culprit. Might as well personally mail millions of Americans a flyer that says “I hate you. Love, Chuck”

Mega Man 1.
Mega Man is a classic platformer franchise, but I don't think too many people will mention the first game as a standout of the series. It was the first but it was also pretty rough in execution.
Of course when it was localized it had this cover, so it's a small miracle it sold at all.
